The hotel is a delicate and snug structure, located in Pontassieve, 16 km from Florence, 25 minutes by train, 20 minutes by car from exit of Highway 1 Firenze-Sud. Pontassieve is a characteristic small town immersed amid the gentle hills that aree typical of the beautiful Tuscan countryside: the fields of grain alternate with vineyards and olive groves, and in the middle hundreds of farm houses are scattered. The countryside used to be densely populated, both during the Roman era and also during the feudal age; still today there are numerous medieval castles and villages located in this part of the Tuscan countryside.
