The Dorsoduro area is the ideal place to stay in Venice: just a few steps from San Marco Square and Rialto Bridge, but at the same time in a tranquil area seemingly detached from the noisy crowd of the centre.

Hotel Belle Arti opened in 1998, and was renovated in 2005.
The helpful staff are available 24 hours a day to suggest restaurants, reserve concerts and excursions and provide other services.
A free boat trip to Murano departs from the hotel daily at 10:00.
Travel information
By Public Transport:
Should you arrive by train, by bus or by car, catch vaporetto number 1 or number 82 and alight at the Accademia stop. When outside the stop, turn left and immediately right. You will find Hotel Belle Arti along the large street on the right-hand side.
By Plane:
From the airport, take a private taxi boat, which takes 30 minutes to get the Accademia.
By Boat:
There also a public service by boat called Alilaguna, which takes 90 minutes to reach the Zattere.
By Bus:
Take the bus number 5 from the airport to P.le Roma (the bus station in Venice) and then the public waterbus number 1 or 82 along the Canal Grande to the Accademia station or the circular 82 to the Zattere (fastest).
