Casa Caprile Set on a hillside in the centre of Anacapri, the hotel benefits from the warm Mediterranean sun and gentle breezes throughout the day thanks to its south facing position.

Surrounded by a park of particular botanic interest, the grounds contain ficus, mangroves, palms, pines, cypress and other exotic plants.

In the evenings you can enjoy a drink in the bar before relaxing in the comfort of your own room, some of which feature a balcony which boasts a view over the sea of Capri and the surrounding park.

Travel information

You can reach the wonderful Island of Capri by ferry or by hydrofoil either from Naples either from Sorrento.
From Naples you can depart both from the Port of Mergellina both from Molo Beverello.

Once you arrive at the Port of Capri, Marina Grande, you can reach the Hotel by taxi or bus. If you take the taxi or the bus, you have to stop in Piazza Caprile and go downstairs the Piazza, you will find the Hotel Casa Caprile. Hotel can also arrange for the guests a transfer with its private shuttle bus from and to the port.

Casa Caprile is the ideal place where you can spend a relaxing and quiet stay, far from noise and crowd, however it is only a few minutes away from the little square of Capri, the entertainment area where the main island attractions are located as well.

During the first period of the XX th century, for about 15 years Casa Caprile was the residence of the queen of Sweden, Victoria Von Baden, who was advised by her doctor, the famous Axel Munthe, to move to Anacapri, to improve her health conditions.
This ancient rural house is sheltered by a beautiful park, rich in botanical species, with spectacular panoramic view on Ischia island.

Nowadays Casa Caprile otherwise known as “House of the Queen” by the inhabitants, has preserved its original features: soberness, elegance, style and good taste.

The hotel is not accessible to disabled guests as it can only be reached by stairs.
