Hotel Fontebella, maintaining renaissance-style the structure offers its clients an atmospehere of ancient times. The sounds of silence, an exquisite view of the beautiful Umbrian valley, church bells ringing and the red hues of the terra cotta roofs. The buffet breakfast, included with the rates, is served in the Sala degli Archi named as such due to its' beautiful stone arches so well preserved through out the centuries. The rooms are essentially furnished and equipped.

The Hotel has 2 buildings, the bigger has 7 floors. It has 43 rooms (singles, twin/double bed room, triples, family rooms for 4/5 people, junior room), the restaurant Il Frantoio (2 forks on Michelin Guide) for a maximum of 250 seats, 2 bars, a sitting room.
Room information
The rooms are essentially furnished and equipped with advanced technologies ranging from air conditioning to satellite TV, to ultra modern bathrooms. Even the most demanding guest will find a junior room. Buffet breakfast is served in the "Sala degli Archi" named as such due to its' beautiful stone arches so well preserved through out the centuries.
Travel information
From North: A1 direction south, take exit Sinalunga-Bettolle; take SS75bis direcction south, after Perugia change its name in SS75 direction Assisi-Spoleto; take exit Assisi-Santa Maria degli Angeli Nord.
From South: A1 direction north, take exit Orte, take the connection road between Orte and Terni, after ca 20km take the E45 direction to Todi-Perugia. In Ponte San Giovanni take the SS75 direction Assisi-Spoleto, take the exit Assisi-Santa Maria degli Angeli nord.
From SS75 Exit Santa Maria degli Angeli nord - Assisi: drive through Santa Maria d. Angeli and then up the hill in direction Assisi Parking area "A" (or Piazza dell'Unità, or Parcheggio San Pietro), it is the first car park that you can meet driving up the hill! From the parking "A" drive straight on up the hill, after the medieval gate of San Francesco there are three roads, the one in the middle is Via Fontebella, 150meters more and here we are!

Our restaurant "Il Frantoio" has two forks on Michelin Guide.
We have many proposal for our guests: 10% discount on our Menù à la carte, 2 Tastings Menues with fixed price, vegetarian food, special food for allergic people. Our winery has ca 800 wine's label!
