The hotel’s own elegant Met Restaurant serves lunch from 12:30 to 14:30 and dinner from 19:30 to 22:00. The restaurant is closed on Mondays.
As a member of the Italian Tea Club, Hotel Metropole serves tea, fresh pastries and cakes daily in the Venetian lounge, with teapots made of fine Schonwald porcelain. Tea is served from 15:00 to 18:00.

Steeped in history and character, the hotel has enjoyed a series of careful restoration projects. In 1895, Sigmund Freud stayed at the hotel, in the Casa Kirsch. The hotel has been run by the Beggiato family since 1970.
