A visit to the hotel allows you to lose yourself in the unique atmosphere of Via Giulia; the evocative 16th century street which was born from the dream of Pope Julius II and from Bramante’s genius. In 1508, Bramante began his project for the magnificent Palazzo dei Tribunali, an imposing courthouse that remained unfinished after its creator’s death. What remains of this ancient palazzo is now the St. George Hotel.
Nearby, are a number of attractions, such as Piazza Della Cancelleria and Piazza Farnese, lying amongst delightful, narrow streets paved in age-old Sampietrini.
